Intro to Recording Studio
Course Description
This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and practices of the modern recording studio. Emphasis is placed on understanding studio layout and function, the basic operation of core equipment, and the basics of signal flow for digital audio recording in the studio. Students will examine basic use of microphones, preamplifiers, and foundational audio routing concepts. The course also provides an introduction to Logic Pro as a digital audio workstation, situating it within modern recording and production practices. 2 SH.
