Course Description
Barcelona, an immensely multicultural city and a classic study abroad destination, serves as host during this 2-3 week service-learning program. In partnership with local organizations that serve socially marginalized populations, including immigrants and refugees, students will consistently engage with community members throughout the program as they actively contribute to the missions of these organizations, thereby gaining a deeper understanding of Spanish and Catalan culture and society. Additionally, students will visit recognized sites of cultural significance in and around Barcelona, such as Park Güell, the Sagrada Familia, and nearby towns. 2 SH. CC: Cross-Cultural
