Course Description
Introduction to basic concepts in meteorology, including temperature, pressure, precipitation, winds, fronts, severe weather, forecasting, and atmospheric measurements. The focus is on observing the atmosphere and explaining our observations. Labs include weather map analysis, lab experiments, and field trips. 4 SH. 3 lecture hours, 3 laboratory/field hours.
